To send mail, click on Compose. In the "To" box, put the email address of the person you would like to send your mail to.
In the subject line be specific about what the message is about. Avoid adding vague subjects like "important" or "urgent." If someone wants to search for your message later you want them to be able to find it, so be clear and include the topic.
You can send mail to the reader in different ways.
To: the main recipient of your message
CC: Stands for "carbon copy." Someone else you want to see the message, but not the main person.
BCC: Stands for "blind carbon copy" and means someone sees the message but the main recipients don't know you included this person.
At the bottom of your message you will see some formatting options. Here are a few important ones to remember when composing your message.
Hyperlink - The icon that looks like a chain link is the hyperlink button. If you highlight any word in your message and then click this button it allows you to add a URL and link it.

If you need to email your teacher, you can find their email address on Google Classroom. Make sure to use a clear subject, begin your message with a greeting, be specific about the point you are making or the question that you have, and end your message with a closing and your name.
Open Gmail.
At the top right, click your profile picture.
Click Manage your Google Account.
At left, click Personal info.
Under Basic info, click your profile picture.
Select a photo.
(Optional) Crop the photo.
Click Set as profile photo.

In gmail, go to settings in the top, right-hand corner. You can configure your inbox based on priority, social, promotions type emails OR set up inbox sections. To set up inbox sections, you can create a starred section (things that are important), unread (all new mail) and everything else.
You can customize the theme of your inbox by going to settings and choosing "see more" under theme. Then, simply click on the new background you would like to use. Choose from selected photos or upload your own.
Are you receiving way to many emails? Are most of them from Google Classroom? You can set filters to automate your inbox. These are rules that tell certain mail to go to a specific place . This might mean automatically labeling messages, having certain message skip your inbox, etc.
