You can join Google Classrooms in two ways. Your teacher can add you to a class or you can join with a code your teacher gives you. Usually at BFIS teachers add students directly and students receive an email saying they have been added to a class.
You can drag and drop your class tiles to reorder them on your homepage.
Consider customizing your notifications in Google Classroom to limit the amount of email you recieve from it each day.
You can keep on top of upcoming assignments for all of your classes by looking at your To Do List. Click on the 3 lines in the top left corner of your classroom page. Scroll down to To Do and click on it to see your assignments for each class. You can click on the drop down box at the top to filter the list by class.
When you log into Google Classroom for the first time a folder is created in your Google Drive called “Classroom.” Within that folder are folders for all of the classes you are in.
When a teacher adds assignments to Google Classroom the resources associated with the assignment will automatically be added to the folder. All class work completed will also be found in the folder.
It's important that you don't move things from this folder to another folder or it will no longer show up in that class.
